Aaron Scythe is both a painter + ceramist. In 1995 Scythe went to Japan to study Shino + wood firing techniques in Mino and at the end of that year he returned to Japan and to study under the Avant-garde, contemporary ceramic artist, Koie Ryōiji.
Aaron now lives and works in Whanganui and exhibits both in New Zealand + internationally.
