Icelandic designer Sigurjón Pálsson created the Shorebirds for Normann Copenhagen in solid turned walnut, with legs and beak in brass-plated steel. Their simple, unadorned silhouettes give them an almost stylised expression that sits as comfortably among books and ceramics as it does on a windowsill. Start with one size, or gather all three and let them stand proudly side by side.
